Cheryl in the Wiggle Room
CHERYL will join artist Larry Bob Phillips during the last hours of Wiggle Room, a working installation and mural at Recess Activities, Inc. CHERYL is a Brooklyn-based video/performance collaborative that throws life-ending dance parties. For this collaboration, Wiggle Room will be reconfigured with symbolic pictorial elements depicting the four members of CHERYL. The resulting environment will invite CHERYL to interact with the murals, creating a performative live tableau. CHERYL will celebrate the closing of Phillips' work at Recess with a viewing of the installation from 7 to 9pm and an interactive performance/dance party from 9 to 11 pm.
