Series

In between Sessions, Recess hosts performances and event series.  Through these, Recess hopes to support emerging artists, encourage civic engagement among artists and the local community, and preserve and advance an inclusive cultural network.

The Supper Club

Co-organized with artist Elia Alba, The Supper Club places a curated selection of artists of color in conversation with one another over dinner, single malt scotch, tea, and other nourishing events. At the artists’ discretion, photos of the events and transcripts of the private conversations are made available to the public.

Re:S

A curious confluence of constituents, co-organized with Howie Chen and in conjunction with Grand Life Hotels. Past Re:S events include: audio visuals from Cory Archangel and after hours with Title TK, and scent lecture and perfuming demonstrations from Jason Kakoyiannis and Issac Sinclair.
