Office Hours

Part of Black Art Incubator

 

Office Hours will serve as a weekly meeting space for emerging artists, curators, writers, and other practitioners to convene and exchange ideas. A specific aim is to provide emerging artists the opportunity to talk process with leaders in the field.

Each Office Hour can accommodate up to three participants, and individual meetings will occur in 20 minute increments.
After registering, participants will be contacted via email and asked to submit written materials.

Space is limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

July 23 at 12pm with Rebecca Carew, Corporate Relations & Sponsorship Manager at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM)

August 8 at 4pm with Sheetal Prajapati, Assistant Director, Learning and Artists Initiatives at The Museum of Modern Art

August 11 at 1pm with Shannon Stratton, William and Mildred Lasdon Chief Curator at the Museum of Arts and Design in New York City

August 19 at 4pm with Rujeko Hockley, Assistant Curator of Contemporary Art at the Brooklyn Museum
